Coming To Christ

There are some people in this world who have known the grand joy of coming to Christ and have entered into the salvation which He has won for them.

Just who are these people, and why do they come to Christ? We are told who they are in John 6:37 where Jesus said, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me."

Those who were given to Christ by the Father SHALL come to Him. Jesus said in John 17:2 that He would give eternal to life to as many as the Father had given to Him.

So, you see, coming to Christ is not left up to chance, or the will of the creature; it is a matter of God’s sovereign purpose and choice, for we read in Acts 13:48 that all who were ordained to eternal life believed the gospel.

According to Ephesians 1:4-5, those who believe were "Chosen by God to be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestinated them unto the adoption of children."

Have you had the grand joy of coming to Christ? Then give Him all the glory, for you were given to Christ in God’s eternal purpose before the world began.

John 17:2-3 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

John 6:39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
