He Always Gets His Man

In Romans 8:35 a question is asked: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" Is there anything which could cause one who was chosen of the Father (Ephesians 1:1-10), redeemed by the Son (II Timothy 1:9), and called by the Spirit (John 3:8), to finally fall away and spend an eternity in hell?

After listing every imaginable thing which might cause this to happen, the Apostle Paul in verse 37 gives a resounding, NO! Actually the matter was settled back in verse 34 with another question: "Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect?"

In John 10:27-28, Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any (man, thing) pluck them out of my hand."

Dear reader, if by the sweet grace of God, you have been enabled to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and love His commandments, you may have the blessed assurance that you are eternally secure. Praise His holy name!

Romans 8:33,38-39 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
